What you should eat for dinner
Although many people say that the breakfast is the most important meal of a day, I believe that every meal is equally important. For breakfast you must eat food that will provide you enough calorie until lunch, but you should avoid ‘’heavy’’ food. As you may know, the best are dairy products (low-fat or free-fat of course). Fruits and vegetables are also useful. For lunch you should eat something that will provide you calories for the entire day, until supper. You may think that because you are asleep, you don’t need calories during the bedtime, so, dinner isn’t important. Actually, it is equally important.
If you eat heavy food or any kind of food that contains too much calories, your body will be active during night, so you won’t be able to sleep! For example, cheese is digested very slowly! Almost every diet for losing weight recommends having something light for dinner, or even avoid dinner (I don’t agree with that).
According to experts, the best food that you can have for dinner are simple salad! They are low on calories, but rich in fiber. This means you will stay satisfied for much longer. If you like whole grains, you can have them for dinner. They are rich with magnesium, which is useful for regulating fat metabolism. You also can lose abdominal fat if you eat whole grains for dinner. Fruits and vegetables are the best source of carbs, so you can have them for dinner. Because their carbs are basically simple carbohydrates, but they are slowly digested, as the complex carbs, you can have as much fruit and vegetables for dinner as you want.
